lukeslater.jpg

Deadline: June 30th, 2008
Track name: Head Converter
Original genre: Techno/Electronica

Prizes: The winning track will be released on a vinyl EP on Luke’s label, Mote-Evolver.

Other: Since the late 80s Luke Slater stands for a distinctive style both in his original work, and in his remixes of artists such as Depeche Mode, Ken Ishii, Alter Ego, Slam, Ballistic Brothers, Joey Beltram and Kenny Larkin. “Head Converter” was released in late 2006 and Luke’s own vocals are featured on the track, as well as live percussion. Two remixes per artist is maximum. FOEM searches for “Technoid Electro Funk” and “a minimal influence is nice”. For inspiration check out Luke’s homepage and the “Head Converter” microsite.

Thx to FOEM (and also Nozerhole) for sending in the contest link!
