You can check out previous videos by Standupkennedy on their myspace site. Additionally the best remixes will be published on a myspace compilation dubbed “The Beast Of”.
Other: Standupkennedy are conceptual artists and the source material for this contest is weird: “Our song ‘Ladies end gentleman’ is just somebody screaming for one and a half minute because he’s fed up with girls. The contestant should download the song from the player and remix it as he/she would. For example she/he could just mix it together with one of his/her own songs. In the easiest way. It fits any song. Just like the sirens of an ambulance car.” For inspiration check out Standupkennedy’s myspace site. Other: SOMA has a wide variety of releases from leftfield IDM and Ambient to very pumping Techno and a splash of Vocal House. As long as your remix has a bit of a SOMA ‘sound’ it’s in with a chance of winning. Two remixes per artist is maximum. You need to register to the FOEM Forum to get the sample package and have a listen to the original track. Check out Let’s Go Outside’s official homepage.
